None of the facts about illegal immigration, for those who care about facts, can possibly be construed as “an emergency,” so why is our despot lying about the issue in order to lead up to his declaration of “a National Emergency”?

It’s not about the phallic, racist WALL. That’s his ruse.

It’s about his immediate access to hundreds of unlimited powers under THE NATIONAL EMERGENCIES ACT of 1976. Watch The NATIONAL EMERGENCY ACT of 1976 for a description of how he can catapult into an authoritarian tyrant immediately, which is what he has always sought.

Our despot has always been crashing against our Constitution’s checks-and-balances against tyranny in order to fracture them (Freedom of the Press, turning the judiciary into “politicians in robes,” profiteering beyond the Emoluments Clause, demanding fealty from everyone around him, treasonous fraternization, etc. etc.) and now he is crashing into THE NATIONAL EMERGENCIES ACT of 1976 in order to push the USA into the maw of authoritarian tyranny. The FAKE emergency about illegal immigration is a lie that he is using to set himself up as a tyrant under the law.

Our despot already has established ICE as his Gestapo, prepared to fluidly slip across that thin line between apprehending “illegal immigrants” to apprehending political dissidents. That will take moments, not even days, to accomplish. We will have no warning.

Our despot already has illegally deployed the U.S. Army on our own soil for the purpose of “supporting” a domestic police action. Again, he has set it up so that he is one simple order away from instantly declaring and enforcing martial law in America. We will have no warning.

He already spoke during his campaign, and under his FCC, about finding ways to curtail the Internet. Can you imagine how you’ll be in the dark when Facebook and Twitter are censored by the U.S. military?

He already threatens the Free Press with violence, and tacitly condones the murder of journalists (not just the wink wink nod to the Khashoggi murder, but the dismissal of concern about Putin, Duterte, and other tyrants making journalists “disappear”).

THIS IS WHERE “THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY” WILL LEAD. The WALL is just his ruse to establish his FAKE National Emergency.

Do we want to be complacent, do we want the delusion that this “can’t happen here” (just as many believed our despot couldn’t win the election) BUT ARE WE REALLY COMFORTABLE ABOUT BEING *THIS CLOSE* TO THIS HAPPENING?

Do we really believe this egomaniac of outrageous ego and paper-thin skin, a man of petulance and spite, with no compassion, empathy, or decency, suddenly possesses a moral compass to wisely navigate unlimited emergency powers to merely build A WALL???

Are we too complacent to see how close we are to political and social disaster? Are we so deluded as to believe we’ll be okay, it’s just “others” who will be targeted?

Believing “it can’t happen here” in the face of this reality is like believing in fairies and unicorns. We are too far down a path we should never have set foot upon.
