I disagree with the popular idea that despot Trump sat watching TV for three hours and failed to respond to the Jan. 6 insurrection he incited.
Trump didn’t fail to respond, he just didn’t respond as “president,” which he never truly was*. The insurrection is EVERYTHING to Trump to this day, and he was not going to simply watch it fall apart. It was the goal for his massive #TheBigLie which still permeates the culture of Trump supporters.
Instead, I am convinced Trump was holed up in private for three hours trying to make his insurrection succeed. I’ve seen no evidence against my assessment.
During the time he holed up in secret in our White House, he demanded:
● There be no White House Call Logs.
● There be no photographer.
● There be no staff.
● He be given a list of all phone contacts that were in his phone (because he couldn’t use his phone, since it would be evidence).
Trumpian Secret Service director Murray and former director Ornato (temporary deputy chief of staff for operations for Trump) then orchestrated use of Secret Service agents’ phones by Trump as “burner phones” so he could command his insurrection during his three-hour command in our White House.
Trump had not intended to lead surreptitiously from the bowels of the White House; he had originally demanded that he lead the insurrection forces in person after his sedition inciting them to attack. Trump knew they were armed and ready. They were, after all, his loyal militias that answered his call during his “Open America” war game under the guise of anti-mask-wearing protest.
After his seditious speech inciting his lockstep, knee-jerk, jackboot supporters to attack our Congress, he demanded to be taken to the Capitol to lead his hordes.
The Secret Service decided it was too risky to allow Trump to do that. We know that there were SS agents who support and are loyal to Trump over country, so their concern about Trump leading the charge in his insurrection was not about the cover story of “concern for Trump’s safety,” it was about the optics of Trump undeniably leading the insurrection.
Ornato retired two days before a planned interview with the Jan. 6 committee investigators. As a private citizen, investigators were no longer able to compel his testimony.
We have no more reason to trust the SS than did…
●Mike Pence, when refusing to get in the car… than did
●Joe Biden, when replacing the agents around him… than did
●Chuck Grassley, when he expected the Secret Service to swap him for Pence in order to disrupt the proceedings.
There is no question in my mind that Murray and Ornato set up burner SS phones for Trump’s use and then dutifully had them “burned” to remove all evidence of Trump’s treasonous commanding of his insurrection from inside our White House. They intimidated others, including the Inspector General, to keep their mouths shut about the burner phones. The phones, call details, and phone recordings were destroyed. It is absolutely in line with the known asinine, juvenile, and delusional mindset of despot Trump that he truly convinced himself that he is a master warrior who could lead his toy-soldier militias into overthrowing the U.S. government.
He believed he was able to do it. He is that self-deluded and ignorant. He believed, based on the militia turnouts that assaulted state houses during his “Open America” war games posing as anti-mask protests, that those toy soldiers were the fittest and most prepared military fighting units he had ever seen. Of course, Trump is ignorant, having never served in any military, as well as having never served our country in any way, ever.
After three long hours holed up in our White House trying to lead his deluded and incompetent militias, despot Trump finally realized his insurrection was a failure. Trump’s dream militias were as incompetent as he himself is. Only then, when their incompetence was clear, did he stumble out and blather his announcement, “We love you!,” to his horribly disappointing militias.
Trump learned his lesson about his toy soldier militias and now openly declares that his goal is to take over our U.S. military and create the world’s largest, most powerful right-wing militia. This was what Tommy Tuberville was setting up by crippling our military’s leadership, hoping to leave it open for Trump to install his own sycophant boot-lickers beholden to him over country.
The three-hour command center secretly held in our White House was used to try to get Trump’s insurrection to succeed.
P.S. – Trump used his SS agent’s phone to call Melania when she wouldn’t answer his calls when the Stormy Daniels news broke. It was logical to him to grab others’ phones.
P.P.S. – Trump’s “OPEN AMERICA!” war games a year earlier, when he sicced his lunatic armed militias against state houses, was successful. He learned his militias were true followers, and he learned their attacks would be met with impunity. Those war games proved to Trump, et al, that his insurrection could be successful. Unfortunately for them, Trump and his toy soldiers are incompetent and delusional. They now face criminal charges for their insurrection and are getting locked up for years.
* At Trump’s inauguration, he lied when swearing the U.S. Constitution’s unique Oath of Office, one of only two qualitative (versus quantitative) requirements for the Office, the other being Amendment 14, section 3, which invalidates the opportunity to serve if involved in sedition and insurrection.
Most of us knew he lied, but Jan. 6 was final proof of his lie. Sedition and insurrection are prohibited by that unique Oath of Office and are prohibited by the 14th Amendment. He was technically disqualified by our Constitution from serving in the Office every day past in our White House, and also now and into the future.
